But where do I build a folder in Gmail, Labels. Here's a quick "How To" in creating your personal Labels and storing your e-mail in them. The first step is to produce a Label in Gmail. Click about the Gear symbol inside the upper right area of one's Gmail and you will probably see the drop-down selections.

In this example, I want my new Label called HubPages being nested under my Personal Label. The results (see right) show my new HubPages Label nested under my Personal Label.

Also, be aware that I selected the Receipts and Work Labels hide option (see right, in blue box) along with the Receipts and Work Label will not be visible during my Labels group with the far left. That's it . . Now how can we store our emails into these Labels, So you've got a contact message open and you would like to save it to a Label folder. While your email message is open, go through the Folder icon (see below, red circle) plus a dropdown menu will popup.

Just select the Label that you desire your email message stored within (see red arrow). In this example, you want the email held in a folder called HubPages. Note: The email was residing inside Inbox only and is also indicated by the gray indicator called Inbox (see blue circle). Check to see if the task was accomplished by exploring the Label called HubPages, You should visit your email stored in this particular folder (see below). That's it . . Labels as you desire, and to categorize all of one's email messages using a couple of clicks.
