American Breakfast Pancakes
Introduction
These are the type thick, spongy American pancakes which can be often eaten with warm maple syrup and crisp fried bacon. I love these with the syrup alone, but when you do want bacon, I think streaky is better. You can easily cook these pancakes by dolloping the batter onto a hot griddle (smooth, nor ridged, side) or heavy based pan.

The fastest way to make these should be to put all the constituents into a blender and blitz. But if you are doing mix inside the batter manually , in a bowl, create a well inside flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, beat within the eggs, melted butter and milk, and transfer into a jug: it's much simpler to pour the batter to the pan rather than spoon it.
Heat an even griddle or pan within the stove.
When you cook the pancakes, all you have to remember is always that when the upper side from the pancake is blistering and bubbling you're ready to cook the next side, this also needs approximately 1 minute, if.
I get about 16 silver-dollar-sized pancakes with this.

Just the correct amount of ingredients for your perfect American pancakes. Using the plain flour rather than self-raising like other recipes may suggest gives your pancakes that fluffy, thick texture that produces you want to return back for more. Yum.

i utilize a squeezy plastic bottle as an alternative to a jug, it's less messy and much more precise.

Have made these a couple of times and always great. Much better than other recipes I tried. So quick specially in mixer. I do not use much butter within the pan when cooking while they make the pancakes too salty. My toddler loves these too. Yummy!
