Honey Ginger Chicken Stir Fry Recipe
Our Homemade Meal Prep Honey Ginger Chicken Stir Fry is a good alternative to takeout! The sauce is produced with fresh ginger, soy sauce/tamari, honey, and sriracha. This ginger chicken stir fry recipe is flavorful, healthy, and everyone in the household will be begging for chicken stir fry nightly of the week.
If you cherish Chinese takeout, boost your hand. WE DO. Lee and I are usually down for delicious Chinese food. In fact, were huge fans of Thai takeout, Sushi takeout, and most things that is fresh, stuffed with crunchy veggies, plus a decent price! If we're talking favorite takeout dishes it could be ginger chicken or beef and broccoli.
This Honey Ginger Chicken Stir Fry happened whenever we were craving takeout but experienced a ton of leftover produce from the fridge. We chose to save some cash-money making our own takeout inspired dish. You can really get this to chicken stir fry recipe with any veggies you could have in your fridge, but we bound to our favorite takeout staples—-> broccoli, shredded carrots, chicken, and several FRESH ginger.
One of my intentions for 2018 ended up being to create some type of budget. One way that I am budgeting this month is usually to limit how often that I eat at restaurants. Cole and I LOVE going out to eat. So, meals like homemade chicken stir fry keep us on course! Cook Time: 15 minutes
1.5 tablespoons avocado oil (just about any oil work)
8 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons water
Instructions
Heat avocado oil in a very large saute pan over medium/high heat. When oil is fragrant add chicken white meat to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Prepare sauce by whisking together all ingredients until the majority of the cornstarch has dissolved. Set aside.
Next, add all of your stir fry ingredients to your pan (aside from carrots) and saute for little bit before adding sauce. Bring sauce to your boil and after that reduce to low, add carrots, and let simmer for 6-8 minutes.
