Halloween Trick Or Treat Pancakes are a holiday tradition at my house. I make pancakes every week. I usually make a ton and then freeze them for an easy and quick breakfast in the morning. Recently I made another batch of my Candy Googley Eyes and invited some friends over to join in the fun. It’s a new tradition around here. We were talking about what to use them on and it dawned on me to sprinkle them over my pancakes for some Halloween fun for my kids!
Yes, it’s giving them some sugar in the morning, but one time is just fine! What child wouldn’t want to eat these, When I put a plate of these in front of my kids, I saw their huge grins and the sparkle in their eyes and I knew I was the coolest mom in that moment.
You could put those eyes on regular pancakes, but how much more fun are these colored pancakes! 1. Divide pancake batter into three bowls. 2. Use food coloring to color batter purple, green and orange. 3. Cook pancakes according to directions. 4. Stack pancakes, pour over syrup and top with candy eyes.
