These made from scratch pancakes are my favorite Saturday morning breakfast, my family considers them the best! Don’t have any butter, That’s ok. Today we’re going to make some No Butter Homemade Pancakes.

They’re just as delicious as butter made ones… maybe even better! I wish I could say these pancakes were created because suddenly I wanted to make healthy pancakes and do without the butter, but the truth is that we were out of butter. Do you often run out of butter too, Instead of butter we’re going to use 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 1 cup milk for the liquid ingredients.

Even with no butter, these pancakes are going to be extra fluffy and moist! First you’ll want to mix your dry ingredients together…like the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon! Now add your wet ingredients to the bowl, the milk, eggs, oil and vanilla! Don’t you love how you probably already have all the ingredients in your kitchen, Btw, I’ve been buying a big bottle of vanilla extract that lasts forever - it’s so much more economical than buying those small bottles!

Spray a griddle or pan with nonstick spray and then heat the batter over medium high heat for a few minutes, making sure to brown both sides of the pancakes! If you want to make these pancakes dairy free or vegan, that’s easy. Just substitute the milk for almond milk and you’re all set!
