The A - Z Of Recipes For Chicken
White Chicken Chili Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon further virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups cooked rooster (I normally use an oven-baked rotisserie hen from the grocery store to save lots of on time), shredded
- 2 cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can (four ounces) inexperienced chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 box (32 ounces) chicken broth
- Kosher salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)

- In a large pot, saute the onion and cook till it begins to become translucent. - Serve with bitter cream, chopped cilantro, shredded Pepper Jack cheese, avocado or tortilla chips. (You may add 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro in case you want. - Once the onion is completed, add shreds of chicken, Great Northern Beans, corn, inexperienced chilies (with juice from can), cumin and oregano to the big pot. - Bring to a boil and simmer for 20-30 minutes to permit the broth to scale back. Stir to combine all the components and then add the rooster broth. Add salt and pepper (to style) and juice from one entire lime. I personally don’t like cilantro so I serve it as a side.)
- Leave simmering on stove till ready to serve.
