The meat for his or her BBQ's was purchased from Nothling Brothers Quality Meats, as we prefer to help the small, independent butcher, they've very good high quality meat, but it is on the dearer facet. I really love my slow cooker particularly when I'm feeding extra people than regular and have my palms full with little ones or just a busy day at house. I made a "Drunken Chicken" and a "Spice Beef". Both meals have been "sluggish cooker" meals and both had been super simple to pop on within the morning.
The bread rolls, raisin bread, mushrooms, two of the avocados and the bag of washed small potatoes were for lovely hubby and son to take to Moreton Island
Many of the meat (aside from the hen and 1 kg of shin beef) went with lovely hubby to Moreton Island. The pre made salads also went with him.

Saturday-Drunken Chicken with steamed Basmati Rice, Snow Peas and English Spinach
Sunday night, we had a dish known as "Spice Beef" it is a lovely, straightforward, sluggish cooker meal flavoured with onions, mushroom soy sauce and 5 spice. You also add potatoes to this dish, the potato soak up all the scrumptious sauce/gravy and we served it with steamed rice and broccolini. It was fairly a hectic day, afternoon and night, so no picture of dinner, sorry. It's another one among Grans recipes, and is truly delicious.
