Easy Tilapia Recipe With Cilantro And Lime

Today I am presenting to you a life lesson.

tilapia recipes
And which is this: If you food blog, don't intend to eat the food that you're photographing the moment the shoot is conducted. Especially before eating anything.

You know very well what that leads to, Rushing.

Rushing = forgetting things which you SPECIFICALLY visited the supermarket RIGHT before the shoot in order to have for that pictures. Perfect little bright green lime, I am considering you.

Yep. I recently spent 10000 years picking the optimal lime eva, because cilantro LIME tilapia, and my hunger got the best of me and I FORGOT THE LIME.

So now I'm sitting here investigating these pictures and being annoyed because that little colorful fruit could have made an ideal touch. Not that I'm bitter or anything.

Can you only do me a favour and utilize your lovely imaginations and pretend that it is there, this also doesn't appear to be boring cilantro-only” tilapia, Thanks peeps.

So, this easy peasy limey-squeezy (an excessive amount of,) dinner is certainly one that I eat on a very regular basis. And by regular I mean 2-3 times/ week, in conjunction with my favorite vegan coconut curry and mango chicken with coconut cauliflower rice and It's THAT good and THAT easy. It's my go-to-I-just-got-home-from-work-and-I-dunno-what-to-eat-so-cilantro-lime-tilapia-it-is dinner. Although, sometimes I switch the toppings up and earn this Peanut Lime Tilapia instead. I enjoy life on the edge guys.

So there me as well as the hubs are - He's eating his morning healthy cinnamon roll protein oatmeal (since he works graveyards, the evening meal is breakfast serious amounts of he doesn't enjoy ocean dwellers in the morning) and I'm eating fish. It's a weird little picture. But, we're a weird little couple. Emphasis about the little…I'm 5'2 and he's 5'6. Everyone say Awwww.”

Now that we have got that out from the way…let's mention fish. Do you as if it, Do you think it does not take chicken with the sea, Are you anti Ocean Swimmies, Personally, I adore the small blubsters. Sidenote: blubsters” because fish say blub blub.” I once experienced a fish named Blubby.” I'm super creative prefer that.

Anyway, if you are in the anti ocean swimmies camp, you might totally only use chicken breast. And, should you not like spicy foods, just omit the srirarcha…it's so easy to customize this recipe to adjust to whatever makes your preferences do this: 🙂

And, if you can't like lime, well….apparently my subconscious doesn't either. So, you're golden.

I'll defeat it eventually.

Sprinkle each side from the tilapia fillets with smoked paprika and cook until white and flaky, about 2-3 minutes per side. Cover and place aside before the quinoa is ready.

Toss the cooked quinoa using the corn, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder and cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Divide the quinoa between two plates and top with tilapia fillets. Drizzle on sriracha is desired.

I love countless things about this dish (lime or no lime)! 🙂 I love tilapia plus the quinoa with cilantro and lime could be amazing! I'm pinning this and adding it on my own list of items to make right…now!

I hear ya about rushing”…there's instances when I don't even wish to take the picture because I'm in order to hungry. But then I think of the many work I went in it and decide any shot surpasses no shot. 🙂

Thanks so much for your sweet words as well as the pin Kara!

Haha story of my life…always hungry. Not good for a food blogger who's got to take pictures before eating!

But very true…even a rushed shot is superior to nothing

Strange!! I mentioned and now it is not there.

I am not really a fish person and neither is our daughter in law. The rest in the crew like it though. I could see chicken about this.

Chicken or fish will be delicious!
