Baked Parmesan Tilapia Recipe
Baked Parmesan Tilapia
I've probably said this before but tilapia is my families favorite fish. It's light, an easy task to prepare, mild flavored and stink up my property when I cook it. Oh and Isaac likes it too the plus in my book.
I'm always in search of different ways to ready and flavor tilapia and this also baked parmesan tilapia can be a winner. The fish is seasoned as much as perfection with plain ol seasoning salt and Old Bay blackened seasoning. Bake it for a couple of minutes then top which has a yummy cheesy, seasoned breadcrumb mixture. All of this will then be broiled to make a crisp, golden crust over the fish.
Sounds easy right, Well it really is! And folks probably will think it is a complicated dish to produce when they taste it. You don't have to inform them how you whipped that thang up in just minutes.
Add it in your dinner rotation! I've used it several ways; I've used crushed seasoned croutons as opposed to panko, ranch dressing as opposed to mayo, and changed the spices somewhat to get different flavors. So have fun with if you need, but I always get back to this tried and tested recipe. It's a classic and also come out tasting great.

Serves: 4
4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise (I used Duke's)
½ cup dairy products, shredded (I used a parmesan-romano-asiago mixture)
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
1-2 tablespoons butter, softened
½ tablespoon green onion flakes (are able to use regular onion flakes)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Place fillets over a baking sheet lined with foil paper and sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Season the surface of fillets generously with old bay and seasoning salt.
Bake for ten minutes.
Meanwhile mix the residual ingredients in the medium-size bowl.
When fish equates of the oven switch the oven with a LOW BROIL.
Top the fish using a layer on the breadcrumb mixture, pressing it gently to the fish to maintain it available. (I always have somewhat of a combination left over)
Broil for 3-5 minutes or prior to the topping is golden.
Garnish with parsley.
Serve and revel in!
Notes
~TIPS~ Watch the broil carefully. Some ovens broil run really hot! Garnish with fresh parsley to incorporate a pop of color. Like bacon, Throw some crunchy, bacon at the top! Yum!
