SERVES 2-3
- 2 brown plantains, peeled and reduce in 1 inch slices
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- coconut oil spray
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt, to taste
1. Peel plantains, slice them, then add them to a mixing bowl. Add coconut oil and toss to completely coat. Add plantains to your air fryer in a single layer (not overlapping) then press temperature to 360 degrees F and time as much as 10 minutes. 3. Once the time is up, spray the plantains with a little bit of coconut oil spray then turn the temperature up to 390 levels F and timer as much as 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes has elapsed, use a fork to flip the plantain over then cook for five more minutes. When the plantains are completed, sprinkle with salt and cayenne pepper! 2. Spray coconut oil within the basket of your air fryer.
