Fluffy Pancake Recipe + Video
I mean they are only little for a short while and remember making pancakes with Mommy! That’s why I do what I do…for the memories and to teach my children how to feed their bodies with proper nutrition, by cooking at home. It’s a invaluable life lesson that I wish I had growing up.
This particular Sunday morning the entire house was still asleep. We had watched the ZooKeeper on the Firestick the night before! I made my coffee and got busy on the ingredients. As I was gathering all my ingredients, I heard little foot steps tip toe from the hallway. It was my little TT girl. Ever since she turned 5 all she wants to do is be in the kitchen with me.
So she jumped up on the chair at the sink, washed her hands, and helped me create this little Fluffy Pancake recipe video for ya’ll! Pampered Chef Items used in this video: Classic Batter Bowl | Stainless Steel Whisk | Measuring Cup Set | Measuring Spoon SetWhile I was cooking the pancakes on the Electric Griddle, she also cut up strawberries and bananas for me. Cutting with her My Safe Cutter from Pampered Chef is probably one of her favorite things to do. I also am not all “Mother Hen” over her waiting for her to cut her finger off. Instead, she’s gained her independence!
Thanks for the reminder to do that and for sharing this scrumptious recipe for pancakes! OMG with blueberries they are a little piece of heaven! I have been searching for 6 years now for the perfect buttermilk pancake recipe for my Husband. Being a scratch cake baker myself, I’ve often been perplexed at how difficult it is to find a good pancake recipe that stays lofty upon removing from heat!
I was hesitant to make these because of the oil inclusion instead of butter, but I am forever grateful I did because these are the holy grail of all pancakes! Thank you Real Mom! If you like thick, fluffy, light pancakes, this is the recipe for you. My family thinks these are the best. I know I’ll make them again.
These pancakes are really the best if you like thick and light. My family thought they were the best. I know I’ll be making these again and again. Your pancakes are beautiful! Is there a reason you use oil in the batter instead of butter, Does it make a difference to the texture,
Thanks for the first recipe I’ve ever used that made restaurant quality pancakes! By the way, I added 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to 2 cups of milk and let sit for at least five minutes to make a substitute for buttermilk. I love, love, love this recipe. I have searched and search for a great pancake recipe and I found this one. The pancakes are light and fluffy and just amazing!
Thank you so much. Add peanut butter and chocolate chips…. These pancakes were amazing, I added a little water because they were a little thick and I freeze left overs so the kids will have some during the week. My children are the big pancake eaters, and they devoured so many I thought they were going to explode..
