World's Easiest Roasted Tilapia Recipe

tilapia recipes
I've been keen on Tilapia for years, and also have a few other Tilapia recipes within my archives (a number of which are tasty but seriously need an update!) I've been happily re-discovering Tilapia given it showed up again inside my Costco. When I grabbed some Highliner Tilapia Loins (no internet site found) I happened to remember the cooking suggestions recommended roasting the fish with a high temperature. This stuck during my mind, and the next time I needed a simple dinner, I adapted the directions to think of this recipe. Since then I've cooked this many times, including once for my pops and stepmother who confirmed it is just a definite keeper. I especially this way served with Double Dill South Beach Diet Friendly Tartar Sauce

I don't need to spend enough time looking at blog stats to see how popular the Easy South Beach Recipes are, which is a perfect instance of the five ingredients or less” and straightforward cooking instructions” dishes that a lot of you obviously love. Just rub with a bit of coconut oil and fish rub and roast for 25 minutes, and dinner is ready! I used Pride of Szeged Fish Rub about the Tilapia on this photo, but I've also got with Kirkland Herbed Seafood Rub from Costco. Any type of pre-mixed fish rub would definitely work, or you can design your own herbed seafood rub , maybe adding a dose of paprika should you be using it for Tilapia.

Thaw Tilapia, then place in non-stick roasting pan and rub on both sides having a small amount of organic olive oil and fish rub.

Roast at 400 F for approximately 25 minutes, or before the fish looks slightly browned and is also starting to flake apart. Be sure to eat with plenty Double Dill South Beach Diet Friendly Tartar Sauce

World's Easiest Roasted Tilapia

(Use one part of Tilapia per person, recipe put together by Kalyn with inspiration through the cooking instructions on Highliner Tilapia Loins.)

Ingredients:

extra virgin olive oil, about 1 tsp. per section of fish

Instructions:

Thaw frozen Tilapia instantly in the refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator and let arrived at room temperature not less than 30 minutes before cooking. (If using Tilapia loins which might be individually sealed in plastic bags, you are able to put the bags in hot water for some minutes to warm the fish rather then waiting.)

Preheat oven or toaster oven to 400 F. Put fish pieces in non-stick roasting pan (or spray pan with non-stick spray.) Drizzle fish on both sides with organic olive oil, and rub to coat entire surface of the fish, then sprinkle with fish rub and rub around with fingers.

Roast fish 25 minutes or until it seems slightly browned and it is starting to flake apart just a little. (The package directions recommended 30-32 minutes cooking time, which I found would be a bit long.) Serve hot, with Double Dill South Beach Diet Friendly Tartar Sauce if desired.

Thanks for sharing.

thanks for sharing this recipe. What are some ingerdients in Szeged's fish rub, I've not witnessed or got word of it therfore wondered.

great picture. it's 8:40 and my mouth's watering for fish.

I just discovered this site last week, and I'm already in love. I only have to lose 8-10 lbs tops, but I always feel much better when I eat fewer bad carbs so a life-style of SBD needs to be perfect for me (an admitted bread addict). I made your goat cheese and tomato-basil pesto stuffed chicken” a couple weeks ago, served it with green beans with lemon, parmesan & pinenuts,” and felt like I was in heaven!

So I grilled tilapia (seasoned with lemon pepper, italian spices, and garlic powder) yesterday and served it and your double dill tartar sauce, also it was INCREDIBLE. Side of black beans (topped with dollop of sour cream and slice of avocado) and also a sugar-free no-bake cheesecake for dessert.

Success = knowing I just created a simple, delicious, healthy meal, and my boyfriend saying thrice that all than it is incredibly, incredibly good.”

Thank you, Kalyn!

Hi Kalyn!

If you're using fresh tilapia, rather then frozen, the length of time would you bake it, This easy recipe is going to be great for me from the summer while I'm studying with the bar exam.

By the best way, I served you roasted salmon last night within seder and everyone there kept repeating how wonderful it had been. I cooked the 7 6oz fillets inside a pyrex at 450º for 12 minutes, and so they were still moist, but cooked. YUM! Thanks!

~m, lucky someone to have fresh Tilapia. I've never had it fresh but I bet it's wonderful. Since I'm letting the frozen salmon thaw completely and then visit room temperature before I roast it, I bet the cooking time is certainly not much different. I was very surprised the package recommended a real long cooking time (30-32 minutes) but I did think 25 minutes concerned right.

So glad to know you enjoyed the roasted salmon, and I'm honored you'll serve it for any special occasion that way.
